I spended my weekend working on the Nova. The starter went out, which also took out the flywheel, which means we had to drop the transmission just to get to the flywheel. $115 later (parts only) my car is back on the road.

All and all, not too bad.

The quality is even crappier than ever, because I didn't realize that I took this on the Low quality setting (which produces a smaller image). So I had to blow it up to match the rest of the images. I really like the picture, though.

I love signs like these. They always bring character to a neighborhood, especially when they are older landmarks. See these posts for more examples.

The bluff overlooks much of downtown Oregon City, and has views of Milwaukie and Portland. I posed for a similar picture about 15 years ago.
